Contact Lenses at D&A
Trying contact lenses at D&A couldn't be easier. Book your contact lens assessment online, or use our Store Finder to locate a branch near you. Our contact lens specialists will assess your suitability for contact lenses and teach you how to use them safely.
To ensure you get the best vision correction from your contact lenses, you'll need to have had recent eye examination. If you haven't had an eye test in the last 12 months, you'll need to book one of these too. You can have both in the same visit, so this won't slow the process down.
Assessment
After your eye test (if needed), you'll have your contact lens assessment. One of our highly trained contact lens specialists will check the health and surface of your eyes and take some measurements. They will also ask you some questions about your lifestyle, in order to recommend the most suitable ones for you and your vision needs.
Once we've fitted you with your first pair, we'll give you some time to get used to them. Next, we'll check that these lenses are comfortable and fit correctly. We'll also assess your vision to ensure you can see clearly in them. If these ones aren't quite right we'll try another pair.
Teach
We'll teach you how to handle and look after your new lenses properly, so that you can keep your eyes safe, comfortable and healthy. Our friendly and patient staff will show you how to put them in and take them out. We'll let you try as many times as you want, until you're confident doing it on your own and feel you'll be able to repeat this at home.
