Aftercare
Regular contact lens checks are vital to ensure your contact lenses remain comfortable and your eyes stay healthy.
1-2 week check
After one-two weeks you'll need to come back for a routine check, to see how you're getting on with your new lenses. We'll check the fit and discuss with you how they feel and, if they're not quite right, suggest alternatives to try. There will be plenty of opportunity to get answers to any questions you may have thought of.
3 month check
You'll also have a check after three months, so we can monitor the health of your eyes. This appointment includes:
- Discussion (to see how you're getting on with your lenses and your wearing regime)
- Vision check
- Check of the fit of your lenses
- Assessment of the health of your eyes
- Suggestion of adjustments or improvements, if necessary
At any visit we will happily let you try alternative types of Contact Lenses.
At D&A, aftercare is unlimited for our Contact Lenses By Post and Contact Lens Care Scheme members, so feel free to pop in at any other time for further advice, or if you're having any difficulty with your lenses.
Our Contact Lens Care Scheme is ideal for wearers of hard (RGP) lenses who don't need a regular supply of new lenses. Join the scheme and you'll receive unlimited aftercare, plus great discounts on glasses, solutions and replacement contact lenses.
