Charities
D&A had always supported charitable initiatives including work with Vision Aid Overseas and the RNIB, but had never focussed efforts on a single campaign to make a real and genuine difference to one group of people.
D&A's first ever "Charity of the Year" relationship took place in 2006, when it formed a partnership with Moorfields Eye Hospital, pledging to raise £75,000 towards the new International Children’s Eye Centre that the Hospital was building.
After the success of the fundraising campaign to support Moorfields Eye Hospital, D&A were keen to continue their commitment to support a single charity. Following a review of many worthwhile charities in the UK, D&A began a partnership with SeeAbility in April 2007, and committed to raising £100,000 to support their Eye 2 Eye campaign.
D&A hopes to continue to work with and support a single charity in this way, building on the learnings from their previous partnerships.
We have put together a collection of news articles and case studies to keep you up to date with all of our charity work. For more information please click on the articles or news updates below.
